**About us**:
We’re L’affare. The coffee business. Ever since 1990. We were born out of a love for espresso, in Wellington at our café and HQ. 33 years later, we’re still there on College Street in our recently renovated café that we are very proud of, serving up some of the best coffee and tastiest food around.
Our people make us who we are today. We’re a mixed bunch of creative, industrious, adventurous humans, all with a great love for serving NZ the freshest and best coffee possible.

**The opportunity**:
We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef and Demi Chef to join our kitchen team in our College Street café. We’re a tight knit team, eager to find someone with a passion for food and a willingness to learn. We're looking for someone who has finished their training with experience in the kitchen and ready to learn more.
You'll be working in all aspects of the kitchen, including using your creativity to support our Head Chef with delicious new seasonal dishes. You'll prepare a range of cabinet food and menu items to a high standard, some baking will be required too. You’ll also complete daily food prepping, maintain our kitchen cleanliness and support the wider team when the pressure is on.
