Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for your next opportunity? We have a position available at our Canterbury plant near Ashburton. This permanent full-time position will work on a rotating roster.The purpose of this role is to assist the wider Engineering team to keep the production process running by installing and maintaining all electrical equipment on site to a standard that complies with all food safety regulations and in accordance with the New Zealand wiring regulations. We are a fast-paced environment, meaning this position will be varied and busy, requiring the successful candidate to demonstrate organisational abilities and enthusiasm for a processing environment.Skills and experience we are looking for:A current practicing certificate as a NZ Registered electricianConsiderable understanding of the Health & Safety requirements for a processing/manufacturing environmentProven knowledge and experience (ideally five years or more) with electrical systems and electronics in a manufacturing or food processing industryProven computer skillsKnowledge of monitoring and auditing systems for complianceAbility to diagnose problems associated with electrical and process controlWorking knowledge of mechanical systemsWe deliver taste, nutrition, and wellbeing to the world with products made from New Zealand's finest beef and lamb.
