The Role:
Due to internal promotion we have a vacancy for a Network Controller in our team where y ou will help “keep the lights on” by
providing 24/7 cover over our network and ensure the high quality performance of our real time assets. You will work in a
small and close-knit team who are dedicated to the safety of our field teams and the networks we manage. The role involves
the day-to-day coordination and monitoring of field activities in response to planned network outages, fault restoration and
emergencies and as such involves engaging with the public, the business and contractors to ensure continuity of our network.
This position offers the opportunity to become the Network Controller Subject Matter Expert on the OSII ADMS, assisting with
of network control technology.

Got what it takes?
- NZCE/NZDE/BEng or Registered Line Mechanic/Electrician or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience and proficiency with electrical network control, minimum of 3-5 years.
- Extensive electricity industry safety and compliance knowledge.
- Full Class 1 Drivers licence.
- Ability to keep calm under pressure and to make sound decisions.
- Proven ability to build relationships.
