As the transmission network asset owner, we keep the energy flowing - transporting high voltage electricity from where it is generated to cities, towns, and some major industrial users nationwide.
As System Operator, we operate the electricity market and power system 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.A lifeline utility, and essential service, we currently employ over 1000 people nationwide.
To meet climate change sustainability goals, and enable a net zero carbon future, we are growingAbout the opportunityIn this role, as a member of the Talent Acquisition Team and broader Talent and Capability Team, you will map technical professionals and leaders for us to enable our Talent Acquisition Team and Managers to start any future talent acquisition activity with a horizon scan in place and potential talent pools ready to engage.

You'll work closely with our experienced Acquisition Professionals and key managers who are deeply invested in ensuring the organisation can review a high-quality and diverse talent pool when we recruit.What will you bring?Energy and passion for, and experience in, candidate sourcing.
You know how to question to clarify a brief, then dig deep, follow the breadcrumbs, mine connections, and review profiles from multiple sources.
You'll think systemically and have the curiosity and tenacity to lift rocks and look for suitably experienced international candidates and Kiwis living offshore.Clear and concise verbal and written communication will enable you to present insights and candidate pools through both LinkedIn Projects and Excel for ease of filtering and future activity.Your CV and cover letter will clearly demonstrate:Expertise in sourcing and qualifying candidates (ideally in agency candidate sourcing and/or executive search) using a range of sourcing techniques and platforms, including LinkedIn, Seek, etc.Experience in sourcing/recruiting talent pools of technical professionals and niche roles beyond information technology (share your success stories with us
