At Grand Millennium Auckland , we're on the lookout for an energetic and visionary Bar Manager to oversee the operations of two incredible bars , including our soon-to-open Mediterranean-inspired bar This exciting new venue will feature a vibrant menu of Mediterranean cuisine and handcrafted cocktails, creating a unique and immersive experience for our guests. In addition to running these two bars, you'll also play a pivotal role in assisting our Banquets team with their beverage operations, ensuring seamless service for large events and functions. As part of one of New Zealand's largest and most prestigious hotel groups—alongside Copthorne and Kingsgate—you'll be joining a team that values excellence, creativity, and innovation. We're looking for someone with the skills and charisma to not only wow our guests but also elevate our bar and banquet offerings to new heights. What You'll Bring to the Table: Previous experience as a Duty Manager or Head Bartender (especially in upscale venues) A passion for Mediterranean flavors, fine wines, and crafted cocktails Strong financial acumen—budgets, stock control, wage costs, and more Proven leadership ability to manage and inspire teams across multiple outlets Flexibility to adapt to the rhythm of hospitality: weekdays, weekends, nights, and public holidays Why You'll Love It Here: In this dynamic role, every day will bring fresh challenges and opportunities. What We Need from You: You must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or have the legal right to work in NZ with a valid visa. Is your schedule adaptable? Whilst this is a full-time role offering a minimum of 40 hours per week with a wage rate of up to $32 per hour, it is important you have the flexibility to work between weekdays, weekends, nights, and public holidays.
