We are a unit with a significant system role, working across government to take collective action against family violence and sexual violence. We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whanau at the heart of everything we do.
Te Haeata / The Opportunity Te Puna Aonui is seeking a passionate and innovative Manager Outcomes & Insights. The role leads a dedicated team to strengthen and support the implementation of Te Aorerekura. As an experienced people leader, ideally within a research/evidence context, you'll lead your team to develop accessible insights that improve the quality and consistency of strategic and operational decisions.
You'll be pragmatic and collaborative, strengthening evaluative practice and ensuring outcomes are at the forefront of our thinking. This is an opportunity to really make a difference
O pukenga / Skills and Experience Experience in leading, motivating and managing people within a government context. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with a commitment to ongoing professional development. Superior knowledge of, and experience in applying, business intelligence methodologies and frameworks. Understanding of public sector systems and processes, including accountability requirements and the use of performance information to inform decision-making. Ability to translate strategic direction into operational outcomes. Strong relationship management skills including the ability to develop, motivate and manage effective teams and diverse stakeholders. Visibly committed to achieving equity, champions Te Ao Maori approaches within your work, and uses leadership to give effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Utu a-tau / Salary: The appointing salary for this role will be between $147,972 and $191,782 based on skills and experience.
