About the role
We are searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team at Education Perfect. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department by handling various financial tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and assisting with financial analysis.
What you will do
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) system and process employee expense claims
Manage the finance inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner
Process sales invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and internal staff as needed
Follow up with debtors to meet collection targets
Reconcile bank and credit card statements accurately and on time
Ensure alignment of sales data between CRM and accounting systems
Support the month-end close process with journal entries and reconciliations
Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting
Perform other ad-hoc finance duties as required
About you
Recently completed an Associate or bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
Based in Dunedin and available for a full time role
Proficient in MS Excel and other financial software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
