About the RoleKey responsibilities of the role: Timely and accurate loading of patients onto a waitlist as requiredEnsure all cancellations are processed and communicated in a timely mannerRemove patients from waitlists as directedSchedule patients for procedures using the established policy or standard operating proceduresEstablish and maintain effective relationships and communication with relevant internal and external stakeholdersProvide a customer focused telephone service with patients and face to face with stakeholders.
About the teamThe Inpatient Booking Team work closely with clinical staff to schedule and book Elective Surgeries across General Surgery, Dental, Maxillofacial, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Vascular, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology .
About youInpatient Bookings are looking for customer service and data entry superstars who are adaptable and great at solving puzzles to schedule and book elective surgery patients to theatre.
Liaise with patients and clinical staff to get the best outcomes for Elective Surgery Patients.
Utilise your flexibility and problem solving skills in a dynamic, fast moving environment.
Flexible and an eye for detailCustomer service experienceMicrosoft Office/Data EntryScheduling and administration experienceDealing with customers/clients via telephone.
