Dispensary Technician - Wellington Manners Street Bargain Chemist burst into Kiwi communities in 2018 and since then we have become a favourite destination for all healthcare needs. From the start, we have provided free prescriptions for government-funded medications and will continue to do so at every new store, consistently helping Kiwis save money. Our pharmacies are staffed with compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated professionals who are committed to achieving positive outcomes for our patients. We engage with our customers to ensure a positive experience at Bargain Chemist, fostering satisfaction and encouraging them to keep coming back to our stores. We are now looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to come onboard at our Manners Street Pharmacy on a permanent full-time basis. This role is rostered for Monday to Friday (no weekends). You must be a NZ qualified Pharmacy Technician (level 4 or above) to apply. As a Dispensary Technician you will be: Assisting the pharmacist to ensure the smooth running of the dispensary (including dispensing). Providing healthcare advice, product recommendations, and counselling to customers. Building a good rapport with and assisting customers with their prescriptions and general enquiries. Dispensary stock management and replenishment. Updating customer files and other administrative tasks. We want to hear from you, if you: Have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in a community pharmacy preferred - OTC knowledge is essential. Have a First Aid qualification is highly desirable. Proficiency in TONIQ Dispensary software is an advantage. Able to multitask with a clear head and a positive attitude. Possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Have exceptional accuracy and speed with a good eye for detail. Have Blister pack experience. Applicants for this role must specify if they are a New Zealand citizen or resident.
