About the Role An opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our Well Child Team on a 12 month fixed term basis.
This is a generic Public Health Nursing role which includes working with tamariki, young people and their whanau.
Having community nursing experience will be advantageous in this role as would being an authorised vaccinator.
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth (mandatory) Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
