Our team sees every aspect of the hospitality industry, whilst gaining a unique experience that develops their career, and can be transferred when they are ready for the next exciting adventure.At the Hermitage Hotel, our Housekeeping team is key to ensuring the guest experience exceeds expectations and our visitors have a clean and comfortable room to go back to after a day of exploring and taking in the views.With guest stays averaging one to two nights, our Room Attendants work at pace with a high attention to detail and passion for cleanliness to reset rooms and ensure every guest has a fantastic first impression every day.What you will be doingPerforming all housekeeping activities in a timely manner to ensure guest rooms are serviced according to the hotel standards.Supporting and meeting targets to ensure the hotel's public areas and all its services are always presented to a high standard.Ensuring any room maintenance requirements or issues are reported to maintenance or escalated as needed.Following our company procedures and using the correct cleaning materials and equipment.Restocking trolleys, the linen room, and supply cupboard at the end of each day helping set tomorrow's team up for success.What you will bring to the roleExperience in housekeeping operations or commercial cleaning is preferred.Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.Excellent attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.A collaborative approach and willingness to help others.The benefitsCasual contract agreement.$25 per hour.Free access to all activities offered by the Hermitage Hotel, along with generous discounts on food and beverage, available from your first day on the job.Discounted hotel accommodation for Friends and Family.Live in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park, with stunning surroundings and unparalleled views – a short and remarkable commute to work.Opportunities to grow, develop and upskill, along with working in other departments to broaden your experience.Accommodation at reasonable rent including power and Wi-Fi.At the Hermitage, Aoraki / Mount Cook Alpine Village, we offer more than just a place to work – we offer a career lifestyle experience.
