Our client prides themselves on fostering a supportive atmosphere within their beautiful practice, delivering professional healthcare services to the local community.About the RoleAs a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing primary care nursing support, patient interventions, and treatments within the medical centre.
Your responsibilities will include delivering patient-centred, culturally appropriate, and holistic care.
You will collaborate efficiently and professionally with the practice team.
This full-time position requires you to work 40 hours per week, between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.Key Responsibilities:Urgent triageFollow-up of patient test results and communication with patients where appropriateUndertaking treatment options and carrying out appropriate clinical interventions and proceduresHealth screening.Delivery of immunisation programmes.Ongoing care and support for people with chronic and terminal conditionsAbout YouYou are a passionate and experienced nurse dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.
You are registered in New Zealand with current practicing and vaccination certification.
While prior experience as a practice nurse is ideal, we welcome applications from nurses with an ED/Emergency background.You will be experienced in the following areas:Immunisations, cervical smear & HPV swabbingSkin and Minor Surgery AssistingWound care and dressingGeneral ITStrong professional boundaries and confidentiality maintenanceIf you are a dedicated nurse looking to contribute to a dynamic and supportive team, apply now
