The successful candidate will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and diagnose people experiencing a range of issues including coexisting mental health and addiction issues.
You will be required to develop sound psychological formulations based on thorough assessments.The ideal candidate(s) will have a sound understanding of mental health and addiction in youth and the impact of these issues on clients, their whanau and the community.
The work also includes some consultancy to other services and support for functioning and development of their teams and the organisation as a whole.
This is an important and rewarding role and a sound knowledge of psychopathology and treatment intervention with young people is required.
