Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
The Opportunity
MidCentral Mental Health Services are offering one 0.8 FTE position for an Intern Psychologist. To be considered for this position you must be:
- Enrolled in a New Zealand University
- Undertaking masters or doctoral qualification in clinical psychology
- Able to supply a letter from your research supervisor indicating the progress of your research thesis.
- Registered as a Trainee or Intern Psychologist.
- The position will be based in the Manawatu Locality Mental Health & Addictions Service (based in Palmerston North) and this is a 32 hour per week temporary position for approx 11 months.
