This is a part-time role based in Whangarei but may also involve travel to our rural hospitals in the mid and far north regions.The fixed term Medical Officer role will deliver surgical assessment; triage, treatment, and management of referred skin lesions to the hospital.
You will work as part of a dedicated and close-knit team who also focus on quality and service improvements and educational initiatives that support quality skin lesion management in Te Tai Tokerau.The service is open to considering a job share or reduced FTE over this period for the candidate with the skill sets required.Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and holds stewardship for equitable health outcomes for Maori as Tangata Whenua as the highest priority.To be considered you must have or be eligible for general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
