Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for operating the Batch Plant to ensure shotcrete and concrete is produced to a consistently high quality and delivered to the required locations underground to meet the operational needs of the department. This role also maintains the Batch Plant to a high standard through housekeeping any monitoring.Operate the Batch Plant in accordance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)Ensure regular QAQC testing is conducted to achieve required concrete strength and integrity.Monitor stock levels and maintain batch plant materials in accordance with the relevant SOP'sCommunicate proactively with purchasing and logistics to ensure supplies of concrete aggregates and additives (including fibres) are available to meet businessInspect the work area, plant and equipment for hazards, damage and defects; reporting immediately to the Shift Supervisor if they are identified.Ensure the batch plant is optimised and available to the production teams to meet business requirements throughout the shiftOperate Agi trucks and other mining equipment when directed by the Shift SupervisorEnsure equipment associated with the batching process is thoroughly cleaned between batches and upon completion of each shift.QualificationsCompetent at operating Agi truck, IT and LoaderFull and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is essential.
