We deliver industry leading efficiencies through our innovative software and hardware.
A recent expansion in activities requires a new road inspector to join our Auckland team.The RoleYou will be performing drive-over road inspections in the Auckland North Shore area.
You will be recording all road, signage, and other council-maintained asset faults such as cracks, potholes, damaged signs etc using our Voice Recognition software.

Once you have been trained, you will be self-managed with full support from our management team.
You will be based from home and have the flexibility to work your own hours, providing weekly targets are met.This is a permanent, part-time position requiring an average of 25 hours per week.
This could be an ideal job for a semi-retired person who would like a rewarding role.To be successful you will need:To live on or near the North Shore area.Education to at least Year 13; applicants with a tertiary qualification will have an advantage.Excellent computer skills, especially with MS Excel.A home office with Windows 10 and broadband internet, ideally a fiber connection.Previous experience in asset inspections or the road maintenance industry is an advantage, but not necessary as full training and support is given.You must provide a vehicle suitable for the work.
A per km travel rate is paid and reviewed every 3 months for changes in fuel prices.
The rate is currently 75c per KM.
All other equipment such as signage, laptops etc will be provided.Once trained, your typical day will be:Program the area you are to inspect with an efficient route.Mount the computer hardware in your vehicle and perform the day's inspections.Remove the hardware and drive home.Do some data processing.Email the day's data to management for quality checks.Email the completed data to the customer with a cover report.This job is much more than performing inspections; you will be managing your own work program and having input into future hardware and software system development.
