The Opportunity
We are looking for a Junior Designer (Digital focus) to join our Communications and Marketing team on a full time, permanent basis in our busy Dunedin office.
The purpose of this position is to support the Marketing and Design functions, which help the ORCs reputation with stakeholders and the community.
As a Junior Designer (Digital focus), you will be responsible for:
Following templates and visual identity guidelines for both digital and print mediums, including web, EDM, digital advertising (including HTML5), video content, print mediums and wayfinding.
Updating designs and marketing material as required.
Designing and creating finished artwork for bespoke campaigns, such as public transport.
Creating engaging content for social channels, such as assets that use animation.
Recording and editing video content.
Assisting with photoshoots.
Assisting with writing briefs for video and photography.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
Strong competencies in design and editing software - such as Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere and Photoshop.
A tertiary qualification or equivalent in design.
Minimum of 2 years' industry experience in design.
Experience in working on and designing campaigns across a multitude of channels.
A good understanding of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social and digital.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
