**Job Description**:
**What you’ll do**
- Provide technical expertise and advice through the different stages of the project lifecycle to deliver practical and economical solutions that meet client requirements.
- Assume responsibility for the management of small to medium scale projects and/or phases of larger scale projects inclusive of producing tender documentation, design documentation/specifications and project deliverables within agreed project timeframes and budget.
- Act as project liaison for assigned phase/s of projects and prepare client reports, project reports and present on project status as and when needed.
- Management of resources assigned to project/s inclusive of financial management of project and performance.
- Manage project performance, financials, and resource planning.
- Contribute to the training and development of junior engineers and project resources.
- Act as project liaison, monitor project progress and provide project status reports to client/s.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationship/s, to ensure on-going client satisfaction and service delivery.

**Qualifications**:
Ideally, you will have 5+ years’ experience with demonstrated technical expertise in Buildings and Structures within a consultancy environment. In addition, you will also have:

- Full work rights to work and live in New Zealand.
- Accredited tertiary qualifications in Engineering with Structural Engineering expertise.
- Local knowledge of New Zealand Engineering codes and principles.
- Desire to work toward CPEng and/or NER status.
- Demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of multiple high-profile projects concurrently in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, including the ability to interpret and communication technical information to non-engineers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with stakeholders, authorises, clients and contractors at all levels.
- An encouraging attitude towards helping to develop members of the team as well as drive to grow your own career.
