Now based in Wigram, Christchurch, we are seeking an additional Event Lead and Warehouse Assistant to join our dedicated team. Specialising in Events, Marquees and Weddings around the South Island, we pride ourselves on being a 'one stop shop' for customers and owning a great variety of stock from disco balls to light up planets, food trailers to carnival rides… there is never a dull moment around hereWe work with amazing clients to create events such as The Christchurch Show, Hanmer Fete, Ronald McDonald Polo, Touch NZ Tournaments, the Hororata Highland Games, and many moreWith our own light show (Illuminate) now filling the Winter months, we are able to offer consistent work all year round and look forward to meeting the right person to join our team.Qualifications & ExperiencePhysically able (lifting over 25kg)Restricted or Full Car LicenceMust be able to drive manualForklift Licence is preferredExperience with driving a trailer is preferredClass 2 License a bonus (we can help you get this)First Aid Cert a bonus (we can help you get this)Tasks & ResponsibilitiesLoading and unloading vehicles for eventsCleaning and preparing items for events or hireSetting up, packing down and working eventsWeekend availability requiredVaried shift times (we can work with you to find a suitable roster that fits your lifestyle)Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a warehouse assistant?Which of the following forklift licences do you have?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?
