About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Stylist/Manager to join our team at FMK' in Pukekohe, Auckland. This is a part-time opportunity for an individual with a passion for hairstyling and a proven track record of leading a team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, overseeing the daily operations of the salon, and mentoring a team of talented stylists.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing high-quality hairstyling services to clients, including cuts, colours, and treatments
  2. Supervising and training the salon's team of stylists, ensuring they deliver consistent, outstanding results
  3. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the salon, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer relations
  4. Contributing to the development and implementation of the salon's marketing and promotional strategies
  5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior stylist or salon manager in the hair and beauty industry
  2. Excellent hairstyling skills, with a strong understanding of the latest trends and techniques
  3. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  4. Strong communication and customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
  5. A creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to contribute to the salon's growth and development
  6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
