We are seeking a seasoned Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Red Office in Pukekohe. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting services to our clients, managing multiple companies, and ensuring seamless delivery of financial tasks.

We have an opportunity for a Senior to join our team.
The RoleThis role requires excellent communication and organisational skills to manage various stakeholders. As a Senior/Account Manager, you will engage with clients by online meeting, phone, text, and email, learning the ins and outs of their business, customising our accounting services to meet their needs, and managing their accounts while ensuring each customer believes they are your top priority.
This is a role for the organised bookkeeper who wants to be busy, with opportunities to work across a wide range of businesses. You will own 2-10 clients each, supplying exposure to diverse types of businesses and confident learning systems, often working across a dozen apps for payroll, jobbing, CRM, accounts payables processing, communications, and more.
You will embrace teamwork and support each other to utilise the skills across the wider team. Our full-time roles are 35-40 hours per week, with flexible working hours between 7-6pm and timebank policies in place. Initially, you will work from our offices in Pukekohe, but once experienced, you may discuss flexible working arrangements with some time at the office and some time from home.
We offer a mentor across your first 8 weeks of employment to support your onboarding, XERO & Software certifications, NZPPA certifications, ongoing CPD, career pathway with opportunities to move into specialist Consulting or Client Onboarding role, or develop your leadership potential via our Hub Co-Ordinator pathway to Team Leader.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Previous experience managing multiple companies
- Full XERO processing to Balance Sheet reconciliation
- Management of intercompany on-charges and loans
- Payroll experience a bonus
- Leadership experience a bonus
