Skills Required
Head Chef experience min of 5 years + and Cookery diploma of level 5 or above
Sous Chef experience of min 3 years+ or Cookery level 4 minimum or above
Ability to work under pressure and in a hot kitchen
Ability to manage time effectively
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skill
Able to adapt and respond to change
Attention to detail, and quality control of all food and dishes at all stages of preparation, presentation and service
Responsibilities
The Head Chef/Baker is responsible for the menu, costing and food control plan.Â
The group head chef will be assisting with selecting and training new staff and leading the kitchen teams across the group
and also ability to do all responsiblities of a sous chef
Sous Chef
Can plan menus and estimate food and labour costs
Ordering of food, kitchen and store supplies
Ability to communicate food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staffÂ
You will be able to demonstrate cooking techniques and advising on cooking procedures
Be preparing and cooking food
Able to explain and enforce hygiene regulations by maintaining a full Food Control Plan
The group head chef will be assisting with selecting and training new staff
Attitude Required

Flexibility to work to a roster, which includes weekends
Has a proactive approach, with a view to limiting wasteÂ
