If you have worked in cake stores, private bakeries, or even cafes we want to hear from you.
You don't need supermarket experience to apply; you will get that here working at Pukekohe New World.
You will: Help us deliver outstanding cakes to a very high standard.
Help develop a cake book for our customers to choose from.
Start developing and deliver on a new area of the business (to be discussed at interview).
Must be able to do the basics right.
Must be able to make and bake sponge cakes, madeira cakes, fruit cakes, etc.
Understand about scratch baking.
Be able to make and bake slices, biscuits, and scones.
Understand food safety and health & safety principles.
Be willing to work different shifts if required.
