The role We are looking for a highly motivated Commercial Underwriter to join our high performing Central Commercial Markets Team.
Working closely with the Business Development Managers, you'll be involved with new business, renewals and endorsements on a day-to-day basis, while strengthening relationships with intermediaries.
Responsibilities Ensuring all risks are underwritten and accepted within authorised limits.
Managing a small portfolio of new business and ensuring the renewal of business.
Instrumental in process improvement.
Monitoring and analysing trends across renewals and claims.
Achieving high levels of quote conversion whilst maintaining turnaround time SLAs.
Qualifications and Experience Ideally you will have 2 to 3 years' experience, within commercial lines products, and have a strong understanding of the New Zealand market and emerging trends.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage well with internal stakeholders.
