Job description: Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Executive, Finance Business Partner to support financial reporting and accounting for a mega IT infrastructure portfolio. The candidate is required to have a sound understanding of the portfolio and its operating model to provide financial/commercial insights to support key decisions or improvement plans.

The right candidate for this role will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, financial and analytical aptitude, attention to detail, and comfort with managing large data sets. They must also be highly proficient with the use of Excel, reporting, and dashboarding tools.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Finance focal point for portfolio reporting including P&L, cashflow, and reserves reporting
  • Set up the financial and project structure required to facilitate management reporting based on the metrics needed
  • Implement effective tracking and monitoring mechanisms to provide financial status updates in different dimensions to meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the annual budgeting exercise for the portfolio, including gathering inputs and performing reasonableness assessments on the budget
  • Effectively manage financial responsibilities and decision-making in a changing environment
  • Produce clear and concise financial/presentation decks to provide analytical insights to internal and external stakeholders or to address ad-hoc issues
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional collaboration with other departments
  • Process planning and improvement to help streamline portfolio finance processes
  • Any other matters as assigned by the reporting officer
Requirements
  • Good degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in the Big 4 audit firms and commercial firms (combined)
  • This role requires a self-starter with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize across several ongoing tasks
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to be clear and concise in thought process and communication to enable effective stakeholder management
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Power Pivot, or similar tools and comfort working with large data sets
  • Need to be curious and have a keen interest to deep dive into financials to shed light on the projects
  • Ability to think logically and always challenge oneself to provide value-added support to stakeholders
  • Highly motivated and resourceful individual who can work effectively independently
  • Enjoys teamwork and actively contributes to our talented team
Preferred Requirements
  • Proficiency with the use of SAP, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Experience in managing project finance matters for large projects in IT companies
  • Familiarity with the healthcare and/or IT industry
