Over Head Lines Engineer - Intermediate Civil/Structural or Mechanical The opportunity

It's an exciting time to join Groundline Engineering as we continue to build on our success and acquire a broad range of interesting new projects. You'll form an important part of a small, relaxed but committed group of engineers and technical specialists. Working collaboratively within a small project delivery team you'll be involved in challenging projects from concept, through design to construction and beyond. There are new and different challenges daily which will test your technical expertise and capacity to think outside of the box. We enjoy the opportunity to work directly with clients, using specialist industry design and analysis tools and operate in a high trust, high autonomy culture.
The role:
You will be partnering with a range of key clients including national transmission, regional distribution and contractor organisations. Your engineering expertise will be focused on robust scope definition and appropriate solutions development, reducing risk and adding confidence. Your contribution to projects will be performed with transparency, commitment to progress and the assurance of delivery around expected outcomes including time and budget management. These roles provide a rewarding opportunity to significantly contribute to the continued success of the team and business, whilst further growing your own career through increased exposure and development opportunities.
This is a permanent full-time role, 40 minimum guaranteed hours per week, with a salary of between $80,000 and $120,000 per annum based on the successful candidates' skills and experience.
About you Tertiary Level Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering Qualification 2+ years' experience in civil infrastructure or industrial structure design 2+ years' experience in overhead line design Foundation or Steel Tower design experience would be highly regarded. Solid hands-on experience with CAD Systems (PLS CADD, TOWER would be ideal) Exposure to site work would be highly advantageous. Strong communication and influencing skills Enjoy working autonomously within a highly collaborative environment Who are we?
