NZ Daisuki is excited to announce the launch of our new accommodation business, featuring unique experiences like glamping. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Accommodation Department Manager to lead and manage this new venture.
 
Overview: The Accommodation Department Manager will lead the accommodation department in launching and managing a premium glamping business. This role involves strategic planning, market research, site selection, financial management, compliance with regulatory requirements, marketing, and customer engagement.
 Responsibilities: 1.     Develop and implement strategic plans for the launch and growth of the glamping business, setting short-term and long-term goals for the department. 2.     Conduct market research to understand demand and trends in the New Zealand glamping market, identifying and securing potential sites for glamping accommodations.
3.     Manage the department’s budget, overseeing financial planning, cost analysis, revenue forecasting, and financial reporting, while implementing cost-control measures.
4.     Oversee the development of glamping sites, including planning, design, and construction, coordinating with architects, builders, and contractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
5.     Obtain necessary permits and licenses for accommodation operations, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national regulations, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards.
6.     Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies, creating promotional materials and campaigns to highlight the unique features and benefits of the accommodations.
7.     Recruit, train, and supervise departmental staff, fostering professional development and continuous learning opportunities to ensure high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency.8.     Emphasize customer value co-creation behaviors to enhance guest experiences, developing programs that provide personalized and memorable experiences and gathering customer feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirement: 1. At least 3 years of relevant work experience, with a specific focus on glamping or similar luxury outdoor accommodation.
2. Demonstrated strong leadership and team-building abilities.  
3. Proven capacity for innovative and creative thinking.
