We trade as 'The Discount T' and are seeking a proactive and skilled Store Manager to take charge of our Gisborne store. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about retail and wants to lead a team to success.  We are seeking a candidate who is a born leader, possesses outstanding communication skills, and takes pride in their presentation. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. During peak times, there may be additional hours available at an hourly rate. Salary offered is $30-32/hour. Your responsibility: Take accountability all aspects of the store including everyday financial decisions and record-keeping Execute store budget Maintain full supply of stock levels as appropriate Weekly stock takes and investigate and resolve discrepancies Compliance with all government regulations for the industry Enforcement of Health & Safety policies You must have: At least 1 year of  management/leadership experience in a tobacco-related retail environment Familiarity with legislation and restrictions within the tobacco industry Other requirements that we are looking for: Ability to budget for the store Ability to sell products and advise customers on their use Leadership skills Ability to set prices and store promotions A strong sense of teamwork If this sounds like you, apply today.
