**A little bit about the role**
As an Assistant Store Manager at Gisborne Kathmandu, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the successful and efficient running of the store. The role is Full Time. Day to day you will;
- Support the Store Manager to operate an effective and profitable store
- Assist the Store Manager to develop and foster a customer focused culture through the execution of sales, service and compliance initiatives
- Inspire and lead a diverse team of passionate individuals to reach set KPIs and sales targets.
- Support the Store Manager train, mentor and coach Team Members to work towards goals and succession planning.
- Create a memorable shopping experience for each and every customer

**What we are looking for**
You will have established experience in a customer focused role as either a supervisor or assistant manager preferably in a retail environment. You will have exceptional people and communication skills and have the ability to motivate and rally a team to build sales whilst supporting a culture of openness, courage and joyfulness. You will have a proven ability to lead, motivate and build sales and service through exceptional people management.

You will have demonstrated experience working to targets and KPI’s and fostering a high-performance culture and a genuine passion for our products, and what we stand for as a business.
