This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is replacing an outdated intranet with a modern, fit-for-purpose solution. The successful candidate will have the chance to set up and configure M365 modern digital workplace capabilities, Sharepoint and Viva suite capabilities, and work on proof of concepts and pilots. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to an enterprise platform configuration, ensuring alignment with other projects and sharing learnings.
What you'll do: As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting our client's Intranet Replacement Project. Your role will involve setting up and configuring M365 modern digital workplace capabilities in both development and production environments. You will also be responsible for setting up Sharepoint and Viva suite capabilities, working closely with the project team to define, deliver, and test a series of proof of concepts and pilots. Your understanding of EntraID and data loss prevention will be crucial in investigating options around the use of CoPilot as well as personalisation. Your contribution will extend beyond technical aspects, providing valuable input into the ongoing development of the intranet's vision and roadmap for future functional releases.
Set up and configure M365 modern digital workplace capabilities in dev and production tenanciesSet up Sharepoint and Viva suite capabilities and configure them to assist staffWork with the project team to define, deliver and test a series of proof of concepts and pilotsIdentify options for a foundational MVP that can support the go live of other SharePoint online projectsUnderstand the impacts of EntraID and data loss prevention to investigate options around the use of CoPilot as well as personalisationPrepare release notes and documentation for Architecture Review Boards and Technical Review ForumProvide input in the ongoing development of the intranet including vision and roadmap for future functional releases What you bring: As a Senior Systems Engineer, your proven experience in this field will be invaluable. You bring strong knowledge of M365, Sharepoint, Viva suite capabilities, coupled with experience in Enterprise platform configuration. Your understanding of EntraID and data loss prevention will be crucial in this role. You have a knack for working closely with various teams, ensuring alignment across projects. Your experience in preparing release notes and documentation for Architecture Review Boards and Technical Review Forum will also be highly beneficial.
