Follow traditional and modern recipes to ensure consistency and quality. Use various cooking methods such as roasting, frying, grilling, and baking. Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served at the correct temperature. Monitor food stock and place orders as necessary. Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Adhere to health and safety standards, including food hygiene and sanitation regulations. Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and timely preparation of meals. Relay information about daily/weekly specials to the front staff to enhance guest experience. Occasionally interact with customers to gather feedback and accommodate special dietary requests or preferences. Work hours and Benefits Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week Paid between $26 to $31 per hour Available to work on weekends Available to work on rostered shifts from 11am to 11pm Other requirements: Good knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture is highly advantageous Team worker Time-management skills.
