A rare chance to get your foot in the door of this long-standing team which continuously achieves great outcomes. We have one vacancy available for a Clinical Pharmacist working at Wairoa. With its own Team Leader to directly report to, this close-knit team of Clinical Pharmacists offers a supportive environment in a role that requires you to be extremely autonomous.Your main responsibility is to provide direct clinical pharmacist facilitation services, focusing on the appropriate prescribing and utilization of medicines to Primary Care. The role also includes provision of clinical pharmacy services to Wairoa Acute Ward as needed.To apply for the role, you must have the following:Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand holding a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with no restrictions.Hold a relevant clinical post-graduate qualification, is working towards this, or has work experience sufficient to demonstrate general pharmaceutical knowledge in core areas and/or specialist pharmaceutical knowledge in management of long-term conditions.Current Driver's License.Medicine review services, e.g. Medicines Therapy Assessment, Comprehensive Medicines Management or similar.Great communication and interpersonal skills.Research, interpretation and provision of medicine information.If this sounds like you, review the Position Profile and apply nowHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Maui Hawke's Bay encourages a workforce that is innovative, eager to learn and enhance their skills, and is passionate about caring for our community.
