As a Senior Project Manager at Chubb New Zealand, your primary focus will be on driving commercial success by ensuring client satisfaction, building strong relationships, and delivering high-quality outcomes. You will be responsible for owning the projects, managing deliverables, and communicating directly with clients and internal stakeholders.

This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Senior Management, Project Managers, and Stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ownership of the project, deliverables, and responsibility for ensuring completion.
  2. Cost to Complete Management of Projects with Project Managers.
  3. Planning, scheduling, and tracking project timelines.
  4. Setting project estimates for resource planning, managing projects to meet or exceed margins/profit.
  5. Proactively managing changes in project scope, critical paths, and devising contingency plans.
  6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact, and finding innovative ways to add value.
  7. Ensuring jobs are carried out to specifications, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  8. Subcontractor and Supplier Management.
  9. Leading and championing best practices in health and safety, environment, quality procedures, and customer relationship management.

Requirements:

  1. Significant project delivery and stakeholder management experience within enterprise-level environments, specifically within Electronic Security.
  2. Ability to lead teams across large or concurrent smaller projects with different ways of working.
  3. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and resource planning.
  4. Excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Experience in leading and motivating teams, delegating tasks, and ensuring successful collaboration.
  6. Minimum 5 years of experience in managing projects.
  7. Relevant tertiary qualification/ certification (PMP or other) or equivalent practical experience.
  8. Full driver's license.
  9. Proven client building relationship and management experience.
  10. Solid experience with job pricing, including materials, labour, plant, and associated margin/profit calculations.
  11. Experience in PRONTO will be an advantage.
