The company is founded on the idea of developing sleek, attractive technology to improve educational outcomes on the individual and societal levels.
You'll head up the marketing function for one of the company's most important divisions. It's a big, strategic role, encompassing every aspect of marketing planning, budgeting, metrics, and reporting. With three direct reports, you'll be responsible for developing a marketing strategy that supports the larger organization's long-term objectives. You'll execute competitive analyses and market research, using the results to segment and define target markets; you'll bring what you've learned to the sales and product teams to inform their work: pricing, product improvements, launch plans, messaging, and positioning. Your team will handle RFPs (research, writing, quality control) and manage the digital media presence. You'll play a key role in the creation and delivery of smart, measurable marketing campaigns that move the division and the company closer to their strategic goals.
You've been in the marketing biz for at least seven years, having worked on several integrated, data-intensive campaigns. You can easily point to some brilliantly creative, effective marketing collateral for which you were responsible.
You pride yourself on your eagerness to learn and your ability to promptly size up a situation and get to work. You collaborate effectively and have a history of winning help from throughout an organization. Along with your flair and creativity, you possess highly developed organizational skills, managing multiple processes without losing sight of strategic goals, and managing people in a fair and inspiring way. The clarity and charisma with which you speak, write, and present come as a welcome relief to everyone fortunate enough to work with you.
