Position: Financial Controller

Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Controller is an important role which will lead and support the existing accounting team, ensuring financial information is delivered accurately and on time. Supported by a finance team of seven, this role will offer the opportunity to develop your coaching and leadership skills, by ensuring you and your team deliver all the financial reporting and tax requirements for the Group, as well as leading the business planning, budgeting, and forecasting process. Longbeach has built a collaborative culture where everyone rolls their sleeves up and works together to get the job done. As the Financial Controller, you will be prepared to get into the detail and assist your team by being a hands-on and supportive Manager whenever necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant accounting qualification and be competent in all areas of financial management and reporting, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an inquisitive mindset. Experience consolidating company financial statements, familiarity with NZ tax legislation and NZ reporting requirements along with international trading activities are required. Experience working in a business dealing with inventory and product costing would be an advantage. We are seeking an ambitious, passionate, and motivated individual with well-developed interpersonal skills.
