This position is permanent and the successful candidate will be based from our site in Hamilton.
We are on the search for a person who is wanting a solid career in sales with a potential to advance when the opportunity is available. You will need to have a minimum of 3 years sales experience and still be wise enough to know that you still have a lot to learn. You will be in the above average sector with achievement and be results driven. You will also understand that relationships are the key to strong and consistent sales results. You will be covering the top of the Waikato Region and Coromandel, based in Hamilton. A person who has a history in the Engineering or building/construction sector or associated trades would be best fitted to this role. However, if you have a solid sales history in another sector, we would be happy to consider you.
You will represent Vulcan across our various divisions, including Carbon steel, Stainless steel, and Engineering Steel. You will learn our products and services with the intention that the product portfolio will grow. Our industry is competitive and the landscape changes regularly.
