To achieve this we have new developments scheduled for the next 6-8 months to bring our resort up to a higher standard.
Job Overview:
Chinese tourists are increasing since the border reopened. We are seeking a Chinese Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help us expand into the Chinese market and make our business more Chinese friendly. As a Chinese Marketing Coordinator, you will develop and execute marketing strategies to engage Chinese-speaking audiences and promote our brand and services.
Workdays:  five days, a rotating roster Monday - Sunday
Work hours:  30-45, (at least 30) guaranteed hours
Hourly rate: $29.66-$32.66 or Salary band here
Key Responsibilities:
·       Develop and execute marketing objectives, policies, and programs to drive business growth, including specialised plans and campaigns for the Chinese market.  
·       Perform market research to identify opportunities for new and existing services.
·       Provide guidance on product mix, pricing strategies, advertising, sales promotions, and distribution channels, tailoring approaches for the Chinese market.
·       Plan and implement advertising campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms, including managing content creation, posting, and interaction on social media accounts.
·       Develop and implement sales plans, monitor sales performance, optimise distribution channels, and coordinate special promotions and events.
·       Organise marketing events, manage public relations efforts, liaise with media and stakeholders, and greet Chinese groups to explain offerings and facilities.
·       Oversee the creation of marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines, translating promotional materials for the Chinese market, and maintaining the website with current information, promotions, and blog posts  
·       Track marketing campaign performance, prepare reports, use data to improve marketing strategies, and handle administrative tasks related to Chinese marketing, including maintaining marketing databases and mailing lists.
Successful candidate needs:

Level 7 or above qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
At least one yearâs relevant experience.
Strong understanding of Chinese digital marketing, social media, and email marketing.
Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
Applicant must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand, must hold residency or a work visa.
