As a cooperative business, the ITM National Support office exists to support the members throughout New Zealand.Here is a very exciting opportunity to join the ITM National Support office in a newly created role – Head of Operations. Working closely with the General Manager of Category & Performance, this role will have a core focus on leading ITM's performance strategy to deliver shareholder value. About the role:Contributing to the financial performance of ITM through active involvement in recommending, advocating, and supporting process efficiency and operational effectivenessMonitoring and providing operational, HR, and financial process advice to improve the performance of member store operationsActively managing team members (2 x Direct Reports) to deliver against the requirements of their roles, in the organisation's best interest, and in line with policies, procedures, and codes of conductProactively monitoring the ITM network performance and offering best practice to assist with commercial improvementEnsuring ITM member store staff are trained and motivated in line with company initiatives, and that ITM is developing the best peopleBuilding strong and credible relationships to become a Trusted Advisor for member storesAbout you: You have demonstrated success in managing operations within the building or closely related retail/trade industry, with a focus on achieving business objectives and driving team performance.
