Our offices are based on the fringe of Mount Eden Village, and in mainstreet Mount Maunganui, and we operate throughout New Zealand. About the role Our Occupational Hygiene team is responsible for protecting worker health in a multitude of industries across New Zealand. The role will see you assisting with ongoing project work, taking responsibility for your own project management, involving client liaison, conducting workplace exposure monitoring, and scientific reporting. The role involves a great balance of office and field work, and you will get to travel around New Zealand periodically as part of the job. Qualifications, skills, and experience Our ideal candidate will have proven practical and technical experience in occupational hygiene. You'll also have: an ability to collaborate, a willingness to get out into the field (including travel throughout New Zealand), excellent attention to detail, the capability to relate to and communicate with a diverse range of people, an ability to think outside the square, a self-driven mentality, and an ability to learn new skills and apply your diverse knowledge across all aspects of Air Matters' services, contribute and work as part of a team. To be our successful candidate, you must have: A bachelor's degree in Occupational Hygiene or Science-related discipline, Ideally, at least 5 years' experience in an occupational hygiene role; 2 years' experience in an equivalent senior occupational hygiene role, continuing professional education in occupational hygiene, and A clean, full New Zealand driver's license.
