Marsh is seeking candidates to join our broking team in either Hamilton, Tauranga, or our Pukekohe office.
Commercial Broker - Affinity
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused individual who takes pride in their work. This is a full-time permanent position that offers a great work-life balance.
Prime Responsibility :
As part of our high-performing broking unit, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring that a high degree of quality client service and advice is always provided to all customers.
You will also contribute to the company's profit objectives through effective revenue and sponsor partner management. Additionally, you will work closely with the wider team and our business development team to onboard new clients.
Accountabilities :

Account Management :

Possess and apply a thorough understanding of the client's business, risk management, and insurance needs to ensure our services meet their expectations.
Take a proactive approach to account management and service delivery, meeting client needs in line with agreed service standards.
Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision-makers and stay updated on changes within client organizations.
Foster a positive and tenacious focus on client retention, new business, and team collaboration.
Assist the Segment Leader with the preparation, management, implementation, and achievement of team/unit business plans and goals.


Administration & Technical :

Adhere strictly to the company's quality practices and procedures.
Possess and apply a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance offered by the company and stay updated on new technical and product developments.
Maintain a working knowledge of relevant legislation and stay updated on new developments.
Perform other duties as required from time to time.


Revenue Generation :

Recognize and capitalize on revenue generation and growth opportunities.
Actively develop additional business from the existing portfolio in line with budget targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities from the existing portfolio and other sources.
Provide unconditional support for all company-sponsored revenue generation initiatives.



Professional Experience and Accreditation :

Three plus years of insurance industry experience.
New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5).
