About the roles This is an exciting time for the Trents team as we transition to a standalone wholesale business.
Our expanding distribution and Cash'nCarry teams are focused on delivering excellence to our network of national and regional customers across the city and throughout Otago.
These customer-facing and varied roles are key to the success of our growing business, and we are looking for people who can start as soon as possible.
Hours of operation for our Cash'nCarry site are 7.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Full time (40 hours) within the above operating hours; however, we can consider both part time and full time roles and may be able to offer flexibility in start and finish times for the right candidates.
This role focuses on accurate and timely checkout sales, providing excellent customer service, completing stock replenishment and merchandising, and general warehouse duties.
What you'll bring Minimum six months experience in a retail or wholesale warehouse or distribution role.
Proven customer service experience and the ability to think on your feet to offer solutions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
A good level of physical fitness is required as these roles involve regular lifting of up to 20 kgs.
Ability to get stuck in and work well with others.
Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
