GSL Education are seeking dynamic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across schools in Christchurch.
This role offers flexible working opportunities, making it ideal for individuals who are passionate about education but need a role that fits around their schedule.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take charge of supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that students remain focused, engaged, and on-task during lessons.
Role: Flexible Cover Supervisor Location: Christchurch Salary Range: £120 - £150 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate or January 2025 Why Choose Us?

Essential Skills and Qualities that we are looking from you: Supervise classes and ensure that students are engaged and on-task during lessons.
Follow and implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Assist students with their learning as required, ensuring they understand and follow instructions.
Maintain a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
Your Responsibilities Will Include: Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to step into various subjects and year groups.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
What We're Looking For: To thrive in these roles, you should: Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
Possess a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
