Services are delivered face-to-face, and online via telephone and video sessions.
Core Responsibilities: Providing confidential counselling services to employees facing personal or work-related challenges.
Conducting assessments to understand clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Offering short-term counselling or crisis intervention to address immediate issues.

Maintaining accurate records of counselling sessions while ensuring client confidentiality.
Staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in counselling and mental health support.
Providing consultation to managers and supervisors on handling employee-related issues sensitively and effectively.
Practicing self-care and seeking supervision or support when dealing with challenging cases.
What We Are Looking For: Qualifications in Counselling or Psychology.
Professional registration with the relevant health professional body (Counsellors: NZAC, Psychologist: NZPB).
Minimum three (3) years counselling experience.
Ability to clinically manage client risk, and work within a short-term counselling framework.
Confidence with computer systems is an asset.
What We Are Offering: Flexible working arrangements – including working from home options and adjustments to hours.
We can work with you to find mutually suitable arrangements.
Access to peer consultation and external supervision.
Access to hundreds of professional development courses to help you further your clinical skills as you see fit.
Career progression - for the right clinicians, there are opportunities to further your career into leadership positions or specialist services.
Other benefits include wellbeing days, volunteer days, and a generous parental leave policy.
A bit about us: We're a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
We improve lives through our technology solutions and foster a culture of innovation that empowers team members to solve complex problems and create remarkable human outcomes in a digital world.
TELUS is proud to foster an inclusive culture that embraces diversity.
We are committed to fair employment practices and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment.
We offer accommodation for applicants with disabilities, as required, during the recruitment process.
The health and safety of our team, customers and communities is paramount to TELUS.
Accordingly, we require anyone joining our TELUS Health Care Centres to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
By applying to this role, you understand and agree that your information will be shared with the TELUS Group of Companies' Talent Acquisition team(s) and/or any leader(s) who will be part of the selection process.
