About the role We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to provide contracting support during our busy summer period and potentially further into 2025 as well.  
What you'll be doing Diagnosing and repairing faults in a wide range of vehicles.Carrying out WOF inspections (if certified).Performing regular servicing of vehicles.Providing excellent customer service.Completing repair orders and invoicing jobs.What we're looking for Formal training in automotive repair, such as a trade certificate or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a workshop environment.(ideally) Hold a current WOF inspection authority.Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of automotive systems.Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members.Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team.Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (if you are not currently in NZ please do not apply).What we offer We offer competitive rates and the chance to work in a well-equipped workshop.  Our team is friendly and relaxed, and our work environment is supportive and fun.  We close on weekends and over Christmas and New Year, so if you're looking for flexibility over the holiday period, this is the contract for you
