Crown Empire is a luxurious nightclub opening in the heart of Auckland, offering high quality entertainment to our clientele, in a fun and relaxed environment.We are currently looking for two full time experienced Chef positions for our kitchen.As a Second Chef, you will work under the head chef, and manage control and direct food preparation by: Approving and polishing dishes before servicing to our clienteleWorking closely with other kitchen staff at all levelsCreating and improving recipes ensuring variety, high quality and originalityBeing ultimately responsible for the respect of all regulations (including health and safety)Being responsible for managing and training junior staffManaging food supplies orders Experience we are looking for: At least 5 years' experience as a Demi Chef De Partie, Sous Chef or Chef De Partie in commercial and busy eating establishmentsExperience in working in kitchen of elegant and high-class restaurants is preferredCourtesy, professionalism and attention to detailWillingness to work in the weekend and at nightHours per week will be 30, from Wednesday to Sunday, organised in rosters during the hours of operations of the business, from 3 pm to 4 am. From time-to-time additional hours might be offered, to a maximum of 50 per week in busy periods.
