Feilding Health Care is recruiting for an Acute Care Paramedic or Extended Care Paramedic (ECP) to join our great team. The primary purpose of the Acute Care Paramedic is to support the wider clinical team to provide urgent and/or unscheduled care directly to people and their whanau within the primary health care setting, primarily our Feilding Health Care site. You will also provide emergency management to any acute, life-threatening emergencies in the environment where you are working, prior to the patient being transferred to secondary care. About you Current relevant registration and Annual Practicing Certificate Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, and able to work with a wide range of people in different settings. Highly organised. A commitment to equitable healthcare for diverse populations. The position is for 40 hours per week (negotiable). This role is primarily based at Feilding Health Center but may require that you are able to work at our Palmerston North Practices at times to build relationships and trust as part of the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
