Lumino Waikanae is currently on the lookout for a Dental Assistant to join our team As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support. You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld. You will also take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing outstanding customer care. Responsibilities: Assist clinicians during dental procedures, such as taking X-rays, sterilising instruments, and preparing materials. Greet patients, review their medical history, and answer any questions they may have. Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for use. Working Hours: Thursday: 8am - 5.15pm Friday: 8am - 5.15pm To be successful in this role, you will bring: Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but we are willing to fully train the right person Ideally, sterilisation and/or customer-facing experience. Warm and positive attitude and team-oriented approach. Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail. Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly.
