The Role You will work closely with the Head Chef and be heavily involved in a hands-on operation in our high volume, fast-paced kitchen. We encourage new and innovative ideas, always looking for the next great dessert
We are looking for someone who not only has an extensive pastry background but is also a team player and can help out in other sections.
If you believe you have what it takes to join and work with a team of chefs who have a vast range of experience in the industry, APPLY TODAY The successful candidate will have: Proven previous experience in the role The ability to work calmly under pressure Keeping up to date with the latest trends to keep our desserts one step ahead of other Auckland venues Teamwork and a positive attitude Excellent communication skills The ability to work in all sections We are looking for individuals who are: Extremely clean and tidy Well presented Hardworking and professional 100% committed, fully focused, and reliable The successful applicants will have all the experience and traits listed above, plus an excellent attitude. Duties involved will include: Consistency through all sections in the kitchen Maintain a high standard of food Training of chefs Maintain food costs With an emphasis on fun, innovative dining, Botswana Butchery's diverse menu is all about flavours and has a strong focus on fine-cut meats and locally sourced foods. Celebrating its 12th year in Auckland, the restaurant has become a well-known and well-loved institution boasting of its grand waterfront location and decadent fit-out.
