As our Māori Clinical Equity Lead you will be part of a new, innovative and dynamic team that will lead the integration of equity principles and Te Tiriti o Waitangi values into the development and delivery of services, acknowledging that partnership and collaboration must be at its foundation for success. The purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day clinical leadership from an equity and Te Ao Māori perspective across MHAIDS as a whole sector.The Māori Clinical Equity Lead will be part of the Māori Leader Group under MHAIDS, Director Māori. The purpose of this Equity Lead is to provide stewardship and advice on how best to integrate Tiriti o Waitangi principles and equity actions across all key quality initiatives in MHAIDS.You will have a proven ability to build constructive relationships across health community networks and providers, with strong connections at service delivery level. You will be able to demonstrate awareness of equity issues and have an understanding of Tikanga Māori.
